Chapter Three:Classification of construction tires

Section One -- By structure

1.Bias tire

The nylon cord liner of carcass extends to the tread and the center line of the tread is less than 90 degrees angle (generally 48 degrees - 60 degrees angle).

2.Radial tire

The steel cord liner of carcass extends to the tire ring and is arranged at a 90-degree angle to the tread center line.

a. Full steel radial tires (including flexible tread)

b. Radial tire with belt (fiber carcass, steel belt)

c. Full-fiber radial tires

Section Two -- By inner tube

1.Tube type

Generally, contain outer cover, inner tube, flap. Marked by TT.

2.Tubeless

There is an airtight layer in the tire equivalent to the inner tube, made of butyl rubber, with good airtight performance. The tire ring has an "O" seal on the contact surface of the rim, and its seal ability is achieved by the tire ring closely enclosing on the rim.

Section Four – by tread type

Large-scale construction tires are basically divided into two categories by tread, namely traction type and wear-resistant type. Traction-type tread block thinning, wide ditch, with direction, better traction, tread ditch is spacious and not easy to plug mud, and heat is good for earthmoving works and push, installation, digging operations. Wear-resistant tread is large, ditch narrow, suitable for earth, stone engineering, can improve the tire's wear-resistant cutting and wear-resistant performance.
